Pat Thomas
Pat Thomas was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. For thirty years she taught literacy-related programs and courses from Grade One through to adult literacy in Halifax Schools and in Canada's North - in Dawson City, at Yukon College.
Pat is lifelong reader and lover of books. At the age of 8, she had a dream to open a book store one day.
Pat Thomas is owner/editor of WindyWood Publishing, located in the seaside community of Hubbards, Nova Scotia. WindyWood publishes books by Nova Scotia writers. For the past 18 years she has also been a freelance editor for publishing houses and several bestselling authors in Australia, the States, and Canada.
As an author, her book Raven: Get a Grip has won two international awards.
Pat is a graduate of Acadia University, Mount Saint Vincent University, and Toronto Metropolitan University.
